Apple Cider Vinegar For Diabetes
The World Health Organisation (WHO)
estimates that nearly 200 million people all over the world suffer
from diabetes and this number is likely to be doubled by 2030. Even
as nations prepare to mark World Diabetes Day on November 14, WHO
says about 80% of the diabetes deaths occur in middle-income
countries.
In India, there are nearly 50
million diabetics, according to the statistics of the International
Diabetes Federation. As the incidence of diabetes is on the rise,
doctors say, there is a proportionate rise in the complications
that are associated with diabetes.
They point out that it is a very
crucial stage and awareness on the part of people and
administration about diabetes is very essential, adding that people
should be made aware and educated about their health and fitness
level to reduce the number of patients in India.
Your muscles and tissues that make glucose an important source of energy for cells because glucose is important for your health. It is also the main source of fuel for your brain.
If you have diabetes, no matter what kind, it could be different reasons, however, too much glucose in your blood can lead to serious health
problems.
Terms of chronic diabetes, including type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Possible reversible diabetes conditions include prediabetes - when
your blood sugar level more than usual. But not high enough to be classified as diabetes - and gestational diabetes which occurs during pregnancy,
but may resolve after the baby is delivered.
Diabetes symptoms vary depending on how much your blood sugar is elevated. Some people, especially those with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes,
may not experience symptoms initially. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms tend to come on quickly and be more severe.
Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes include:
Increased thirst
Frequent urination
Extreme hunger
Unexplained weight loss
Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there's not enough insulin)
Fatigue
Blurred vision
Slow-healing sores
High blood pressure
Frequent infections, such as gums or skin infections and vaginal or bladder infections
Type 1 diabetes can develop at any
age, it typically appears during childhood or adolescence. Type 2
diabetes, the more common type, at any age can develop and often
preventable
To understand diabetes, first you how glucose is normally processed
in the body should be understood.
Insulin is a hormone that comes from
the pancreas, a gland situated behind and below the stomach.
The pancreas secretes insulin into the bloodstream. The insulin
circulates, enabling sugar to enter your cells.Insulin lowers the
amount of sugar in your bloodstream. As your blood sugar level
drops, insulin also drops from your pancreas.
The role of
glucose
Glucose — a sugar — is a main source of energy for the cells that
make up muscles and other tissues.
Glucose comes from two major sources: food and
your liver.
Sugar is absorbed into the bloodstream, where
it enters cells with the help of insulin.
Your liver stores and makes glucose.
When your insulin levels are low, such as when
you haven't eaten in a while, the liver metabolizes stored glycogen
into glucose to keep your glucose level within a normal
range
Simple Home Remedy For Diabetes
If you want to control any type of
diabetes better, consume vinegar before meals and at bedtime. Start
today! It lowers post-meal and fasting glucose levels.
In a study from Arizona State University, subjects took a drink of
20 grams of apple cider vinegar, 40 grams of water, and 1 teaspoon
of stevia Those with insulin resistance who drank the vinegar had
34% lower postprandial (after-meal) glucose compared to
controls.
These postprandial benefits had been found
before. It was thought that vinegar might slow the absorption of
carbohydrate into the blood, or slow the breakdown of starches into
sugars, study reported that Vinegar reduced
postprandial glucose more in subjects who were highly insulin
resistant. This result shows that vinegar increases insulin
sensitivity
Now studies have found that vinegar at bedtime reduces fasting
blood glucose in the morning, indicating that vinegar might promote
insulin production,
Pretty amazing that a simple
Vinegar(acetic acid) could have the benefits different
